The General Manager oversees all Front of House operations while working very closely with the Executive Chef and Chef de Cuisine. S/he must play an active role, alongside the management team, in constantly refining and defining our service. S/he will be responsible for hiring, managing and training FOH management and staff.
Responsibilities include:
- Continual improvement of all FOH operations
- Coordinating all hiring, training, and staffing for all FOH positions
- Training and enforcing Momofuku protocols and standards
- Working closely with chefs; act as liaison to accomplish BOH's pursuit of serving delicious food
- Ensuring that guests enjoy the Momofuku experience
- Manage administrative task (FOH inventory, payroll, scheduling, etc.)
- Enforcing standards of service and assisting all managers in building a strong service team
- Determining and managing pars on any service related item (including but not limited to all table pre-sets, dining room mise en place, coat check items, etc.)
- Developing and nurturing relationships with our business partners
- Monitoring all FOH operating costs, identifying issues, and strategizing improvements
