Position Overview
As the General Manager at LIME Painting, you will be responsible for managing day-to-day operations, driving lead generation, overseeing production, and ensuring exceptional customer service. This role requires a strategic thinker with the ability to manage multiple tasks and lead a team to success.
Key Responsibilities
Daily & Weekly Tasks
Lead Generation:
- Canvass neighborhoods in our demographic to identify potential clients.
- Research and engage in business networking opportunities to build relationships and referral programs.
- Establish strategic partnerships with realtors, interior designers, builders, and participate in trade shows.
Administrative Management:
- Manage CRM systems (Client Tether/Service Minder) for tracking leads and client interactions.
- Oversee platforms like Angie, Houzz, Neighborhood apps, Facebook Groups, and Craigslist for lead generation.
- Manage Google My Business profile for online visibility.
- Answer all incoming business calls and make outbound calls for appointment setting, industry contacts, follow-ups, and reminders.
- Respond to web and social media leads promptly.
Meetings & Team Management:
- Facilitate daily huddles to set goals, map territories, and motivate the team.
- Lead weekly quality meetings and ensure team participation in all company meetings.
- Attend monthly mastermind calls, quarterly summits, and weekly rally calls.
- Facilitate and participate in training sessions and workshops.
Social Media Management:
- Maintain and post daily relevant and engaging content on social media platforms.
- Grow the company’s social media following, impressions, and engagement.
- Create interactive content such as surveys and raffles to boost engagement.
Production Oversight:
- Oversee subcontractors and projects, ensuring quality and progress.
- Meet with customers and conduct site visits to supervise project development.
- Update and manage the Annual Planning Workbook and Marketing Tracker.
- Track and analyze key performance indicators (KPIs) using the company scorecard.
Bi-Weekly Tasks
- Process payroll and ensure timely and accurate payment to employees.
Monthly Tasks
- Collaborate with the accountant to close monthly financial books.
- Prepare and review expense reports.
- Attend local chamber of commerce events, sales expos, and networking events.
- Schedule and attend meetings with paint representatives to stay updated on industry trends and products.
Ad Hoc Tasks
- Recruit, onboard, and train new team members.
- Create and maintain personnel files for all employees.
- Maintain accurate records in our tech platforms and Google systems.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in a management or leadership role, preferably in sales, marketing, or operations.
- Strong organizational and multitasking abilities.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Proficiency in CRM systems and social media management.
- Ability to lead and motivate a team, driving performance and accountability.
- Experience in luxury services or the painting/restoration industry is a plus.
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to make strategic decisions.
