Job Overview
The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills and a passion for delivering exceptional customer service. This role requires a hands-on approach to managing staff, ensuring food safety, and maintaining high standards of quality in catering and banquet services. The General Manager will be responsible for driving operational excellence while fostering a positive work environment.
Responsibilities
- Lead and manage the overall operations of the establishment, ensuring efficiency and effectiveness in all areas.
- Supervise and train staff, promoting teamwork and professional development within the team.
- Oversee food management practices, ensuring compliance with food safety regulations and standards.
- Manage inventory control processes to optimize resources and minimize waste.
- Coordinate catering services and banquet events, ensuring exceptional service delivery to clients.
- Provide outstanding customer service by addressing guest inquiries and resolving any issues promptly.
- Conduct interviews and participate in the hiring process to build a strong team.
- Implement operational policies and procedures to enhance productivity and service quality.
Requirements
- Proven experience in a managerial role within the food service or hospitality industry.
- Strong skills in team management, including training, supervising, and motivating staff.
