Momofuku Nishi opened in January 2016 and is Momofuku’s first restaurant on the west side. Located in New York City’s Chelsea neighborhood, guests can choose from a la carte offerings for lunch, dinner, and weekend brunch. Nishi’s Smoked Bo Ssäm, Lobster Chow Mein, and Fried Chicken large format meals are meant for sharing and served during dinner.
We are looking for a General Manager to execute the service vision and stated requirements of Momofuku, Nishi’s Executive Chef and Chef de Cuisine!
Some things you'll be doing:
- Oversee service and service staff
- Work closely with the FOH & BOH management teams to enforce and direct service standards
- Knowledge of food and beverage menus, as well as all Nishi offerings
- Daily, weekly, monthly beverage ordering and inventory management
- Co-management of the restaurant administrative duties, reservation system and events
- Develop FOH staff (training and disciplining); special attention to wine and beverage training
- Lead by example in all areas: hard work,; punctuality; clear communication with Momofuku offices & employees and guests; ability to understand, communicate, and execute all service standards
- Maintain and advance the level of service on the part of the staff
- Ensure guests enjoy the Momofuku experience!
