As the GSM, you'll spearhead the sales and distribution functions, leveraging all available resources to drive demand and shape the market strategy in alignment with companywide objectives. Your primary focus will be on managing key customer relationships, leading sales initiatives, and ensuring profitable growth. The ideal candidate can understand, build, and execute a successful sales strategy plan!
Qualifications:Bachelor's degree required
- Minimum 8 years of sales experience in consumer products or food manufacturing
- Strong strategic thinking and leadership skills
- Demonstrated P&L management experience
- Proven track record of building and developing high-performing teams
- Excellent negotiation, conflict resolution, and influencing abilities
- Exceptional analytical and decision-making skills
- Outstanding planning and organizational capabilities
- Deep understanding of customer channels
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, results-driven environment
Responsibilities:Sales:
- Manage regional sales operations including pipeline/strategy, customer calls, etc.
- Drive sales, volume, margin, and financial goals achievement
- Cultivate and maintain customer relationships
- Provide training and mentorship to sales and support staff
- Manage margins through price adjustments, promotions, and SKU management
- Collaborate with national sales team on core initiatives
- Deliver summarized financial data and insights to General Manager for informed decision-making
- Provide leadership and direction to channel managers, fostering growth through benchmarking, customer leads, and best practices
- Represent the company at industry associations, trade shows, and customer events
