The world class cardiothoracic surgery program at Cleveland Clinic is seeking a General Thoracic Surgeon with an Interest in Lung Transplantation to join our established and highly respected practice.
With one of the nation's leading lung transplant programs, Cleveland Clinic brings together a multidisciplinary team to provide the most innovative treatments for patients with pulmonary failure. In addition, our highly trained and skilled surgeons care for patients with benign and malignant diseases of the lungs, esophagus, chest wall, pleural space, and mediastinum. The practice offers a full spectrum of endoscopic procedures of the lungs and esophagus, as well as dilation and stenting procedures. Minimally invasive and robotic surgical approaches are used in the treatment of both benign and malignant chest pathology.
This position provides the opportunity to develop a rewarding academic practice in thoracic surgery while benefitting from the Cleveland Clinic's extensive clinical and research infrastructure and resources.
Requirements: Board Certified / Board Eligible American Board of Thoracic Surgery, and a valid and unrestricted license to practice medicine in the state of Ohio or eligibility to obtain an Ohio medical license. A faculty appointment at a rank commensurate with experience can be obtained with the Cleveland Clinic Lerner College of Medicine at Case Western Reserve University.
