Client Overview:
Our client is a well-regarded nonprofit organization, looking to strengthen its donor relations and operational processes. Currently, they are looking to add a Gift Processing Administrator to their team.
Salary/Hourly Rate:
$25/hr – $30/hr
Position Overview:
The Gift Processing Administrator will assist with the critical function of donation processing for the organization. Key responsibilities include handling incoming mail, processing financial donations, organizing and scanning documentation, and verifying data accuracy through Raiser’s Edge. The role demands a high level of accuracy, professionalism with confidential information, and the ability to work independently across multiple tasks. The schedule is as follows: Monday through Thursday, 8:30 am – 5:30 pm onsite. Fridays offer remote work from 8:30 am to 3:00 pm.
Responsibilities of the Gift Processing Administrator:
- Efficiently open, sort, and batch incoming mail.
- Use Raiser’s Edge to research and update donor information as needed.
- Assist with preparing deposits for reconciliation purposes.
- Accurately enter data related to donations, payments, and donor records.
- Digitize and organize physical and electronic files, including donation details and correspondence.
- Ensure confidentiality of sensitive information related to donors and finances.
- Provide additional clerical support to the operations team when necessary.
Qualifications for the Gift Processing Administrator:
- Strong attention to detail and excellent organizational skills.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information.
- Familiar with office equipment such as scanners and printers.
- Experience with Raiser’s Edge or similar donor database systems is required.
- Prior nonprofit or administrative experience is a plus.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
Education Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent is required.
- Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree is preferred.
