Position Overview

The Business Excellence team, located in Atlanta, Georgia, is seeking a Global Finance Transformation Manager, Order to Cash! The person in this role will report to the Director, Global Finance Transformation. The ideal candidate will focus on critical initiatives sought at optimizing the order to cash process within the finance department and globally, facilitating data-driven decision-making. This includes improving data strategy, transactional processing, treasury processes, tax and accounting processes, internal controls, finance technology optimization, and reporting!

The ideal candidate will possess advanced critical and analytical thinking skills to optimally identify issues, evaluate alternatives, and implement efficient solutions. Additionally, proficiency in data analytics languages and tools such as Excel, SQL, Python, and Power BI is critical.

Responsibilities

• Support Finance in achieving process efficiencies:
• Assist teams in finding opportunities that align with broader Finance organizational goals and objectives.
• Leverage best-practices and controls.
• Lead projects, time, and resources efficiently.
• Lead organizational change efforts to ensure successful adoption of data-driven decision-making practices within the finance function. This involves providing training, support, and mentorship to employees as they adapt to new tools and processes.
• Implement transformation initiatives:
• Define project goals, scope, approach, timeline, and resources needed.
• Collect business requirements aligned with project goal and scope.
• Provide subject matter expertise.
• Support the Global Business Service strategy for Order to Cash:
• Conduct assessments to pinpoint inefficiencies and areas for improvement.
• Identify, Prioritize, and implement process improvements.
• Drive automation solutions using RPA, Power Apps and other tools.
• Leverage best-practices and controls.
• Support Order to Cash Data Strategy and Governance
• Support Data Lake Order to Cash projects related.
• Support Digital IT team to implement Governance around Order to Cash related data.
• Business Partnering with FP&A, Commercial, Strategy & Sustainability, and IT to find opportunities and streamline the processes to prepare Novelis for future reporting requirements.
• Adopt new technologies, such as machine learning, AI, and data analytics.

Minimum qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Data Science, Finance, Economics, or a related field
• Minimum of 7 years’ related experience in a multi-national, matrix organization
• Excellent understanding of financial and accounting principles
• Advanced analytical thinking for translating data into insightful visuals and reports across multiple datasets.
• Ability to identify problems, analyze potential solutions, and implement the most effective solution.
• Strong knowledge of data science methodologies, tools, and applications in finance.
• Strong project management skills.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills.
• Ability to work collaboratively with teams with varied strengths.

Preferred qualifications

• Manufacturing Experience.
• Experience with Python, SQL and advanced Excel functions
• SAP Experience.
