Job Title: Research Associate
Location: Dexter-Seattle, WA
Top Skills:
- BS in Biology, Chemical Biology, Biochemistry Immunology, Cancer Biology, or related field
- Experience with routine lab procedures (e.g., pipetting, buffer preparation, sample preparation, testing,) and handling of biological and chemical hazardous materials.
- Experience with analytical procedure (Liquid Chromatography, ELISA, Spectroscopy) will be advantageous preferred.
The Research Associate will assist other team personnel to execute various analytical assays in support of process development as well as for characterization and release of autologous and allogenic cell therapies which are undergoing clinical trials, including CAR T cell products. The Research Associate will be executing and analyzing experiments with some oversight. The Research Associate will have hands-on experience in various analytical tools and technologies to grow and thrive through opportunities alongside some of the brightest scientist in biopharma. REQUIRED COMPETENCIES: Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
Education: BS in Biology, Chemical Biology, Biochemistry Immunology, Cancer Biology, or related field
Experience • 0 to 3 years of relevant industry experience.
• Experience with routine lab procedures (e.g., pipetting, buffer preparation, sample preparation, testing,) and handling of biological and chemical hazardous materials.
• Experience with analytical procedure (Liquid Chromatography, ELISA, Spectroscopy) will be advantageous.
• Experience with data analysis and interpretation using statistical software (e.g., Excel, JMP).
• Outstanding written and oral communication skills.
• Work effectively in a collaborative team setting.
• Ability to work in a rapidly changing environment with frequent changes in priorities, flexible.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
• Able to follow instructions and strictly follow procedures.
• Ability to execute experiments independently after having adequate training.
• Maintain meticulous electronic laboratory notebooks.
• Manage routine sample analysis requests.
• Present data to Team (Power Point Presentations)
• Contributes to lab upkeep and equipment maintenance, including ordering, and sample management etc.
