Description:Career Global Software Engineer- On-siteWhat We’re DoingOur Team, the Command and Control, Battle Management and Communications (C2BMC) Global team, is engineering, developing and integrating new capability for the Missile Defense System that currently protects the United States and its allies
The team, as a whole, is very large but is broken down into many smaller agile teams that work together in a fast-paced and dynamic environment
Our team is also responsible for tasks such as Sensor/Weapon Integration, Algorithm Development, User Interface Development, Automated Testing, Cyber Security and enhancing other critical, leading-edge missile defense technologies
The WorkGTP is seeking a software engineer that will thrive in an environment requiring maintenance and development of Java based applications heavily reliant on efficient algorithm development & linear algebra
Candidate engineers are eager to tackle difficult problems through collaboration and comradery
This engineer jumps at the opportunity to support their team across the finish line! Collaboration mandates excellent written and communication skills; well-articulated documentation in the form of clearly documented software, technical memorandums, white papers, software modeling and technical presentations are part of daily activities.Please Note:• This position requires a government security clearance; you must be a US Citizen for consideration
• This position will involve around 10% travel to our customer sites throughout the U.S

As part of C2BMC-G you will support on-site at our Federal Drive location in the North end of Colorado Springs

These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.Schedule for this Position: 4x10 hour day, 3 days off per weekPay Rate:The annual base salary range for this position in California and New York (excluding most major metropolitan areas), Colorado, Hawaii, Maryland, Washington or Washington DC is $105,000 - $201,100
For states not referenced above, the salary range for this position will reflect the candidate’s final work location
