Overview:
The salary range for this position is $22.00 – $25.75 hour depending upon qualifications and is non-negotiable.
Under immediate supervision, the incumbent assists with Library workshops and supports workshop participants using R for biomedical data. This work should not take precedence over the successful completion of the graduate degree program. Assignments may be clerical or administrative in nature or technical and/or research focused which may be conducted in a laboratory or in the field.
Responsibilities:
Primary duties and responsibilities (95%):
- Help set up forms to collect names, etc. of workshop attendees.
- Copy materials for workshops
- Help prepare computer classroom for workshops
- Help workshop instructors as needed
- Support workshops participants learning how to use R for All of Us data
- Troubleshoot R programming for biomedical research
- Other duties as assigned by PI

Qualifications:Minimum Education
- Equivalent to completion of a bachelor's degree and registration in an SDSU graduate degree program
Minimum Experience
- None
Desired Qualifications:
- Expert knowledge of R programming
- Commitment to learning how to use the All of Us Researcher Workbench and secure Controlled Tier access to the Researcher Workbench.
- Knowledge of biomedical research.
