WHAT YOU WILL DO:
The Grant Accountant Supervisor is an exempt position responsible for contract billings, account analysis, budgets and serving as a liaison between finance and funders.
Supervisor Responsibilities:

Supervise Grant Accountants as assigned
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Responsible for contract billings as required by contract
- Responsible for all required financial reporting per contracts
- Reconcile assigned balance sheet account analysis monthly
- Assist with preparation of company annual projections and budgets
- Work with Grants department by preparing grant proposal budgets and budget narratives as
- necessary
- Prepare and enter monthly journal entries
- Assist as needed with monthly general ledger closing
- Assist with audit work papers for annual audit and funder audits as assigned
- Maintain employee position controls
- Work with program staff in understanding financials
- Assist with funder annual monitoring visits
- Perform all other duties as assigned

WHAT YOU WILL NEED:
- Bachelor's degree in accounting or other related finance degree, required, in addition to three (3) years' minimum experience in accounting position with Grant Accounting and Reporting, and two (2) years' of experience demonstrating leadership ability, team management and people skills.
- Must have experience with managing State and Federal grants
- Proficient in Accounting systems, Concur and Microsoft Office Suite (i.e. V-Lookups, Pivot tables)
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to deal professionally, courteously and efficiently with people
- Excellent time management skills with a proven ability to meet deadlines.
