The Grants Manager Contractor supports NOLABA’s internal operations with a focus on grants administration and management. Reporting to the Chief Executive Officer, this role works closely with program leadership to align grant activities with NOLABA’s mission. This is a hybrid position, requiring periodic in-office work with flexible remote options. Grant Administration/Fundraising- Oversee and manage the full grants pipeline, including grant research, applications, compliance, and reporting.
- Collaborate with program leadership and the CEO to identify funding opportunities aligned with NOLABA’s goals.
- Coordinate the accounting and reporting for grant portfolios, including budget preparation, quarterly budget-to-actual reporting, revenue forecasting, and estimating carryover funds.
- Conduct regular audits of grant-funded projects to ensure alignment with approved budgets and identify opportunities for cost savings or reallocations.
- Maintain and update fundraising and grant-tracking data in collaboration with the CEO, Special Assistant, and Marketing & Events Specialist.
- Develop and maintain a comprehensive grants calendar to track application deadlines, reporting requirements, and renewal opportunities.
- Liaise with grant funders to ensure ongoing communication and maintain positive relationships, addressing any compliance or reporting questions as they arise.
- Ensure all grant-related activities comply with funder guidelines and NOLABA’s administrative standards.
QUALIFICATIONS & JOB REQUIREMENTS:- Experience: 5-7 years in nonprofit grant administration and/or operations management.
- Education: Bachelor’s degree required; Master’s degree in Public Administration, Business Administration, or related field preferred.
- Skills: Proficiency in nonprofit grant management; familiarity with government grants is a plus. QuickBooks Online experience is preferred.
- Attributes: Strategic thinker with strong organizational skills, teamwork ability, and communication skills to work effectively in a dynamic environment. Proven ability to set and achieve performance-based outcomes.
Additional Details:- Hours: Approximately 15-20 hours per month.
