About the Job
Graphic design requires expertise, intelligence, knowledge, talent, skill, and an a7inity for images, words and
media. Graphic designers create layouts and designs for logos, packaging, advertising, marketing collateral and
other published materials in print, online and in-store. They are responsible for creative inspiration, bringing to
life ideas, selecting and arranging artwork, creating illustrations, choosing colors and influencing the concept
for design. Knowledge of the latest graphic design software is essential. Strong communication skills are
important as they frequently interact with other design managers, creative team members, such as production
artists, writers, art directors and creative directors.
This freelancer should have the following additional skills:
" Expert in Adobe Creative Suite
" Ensures quality and consistency of deliverables including designs, mockups and prototypes to meet
business objectives and needs
" Visualizes with strategic intent
" Creates and interpret brand guidelines
" Delivers e7iciently and with agility
" Brings to life ideas across touchpoints including gin-store and in e-commerce platforms
Must haves:
" Ability to understand and design aProductst brand guidelines
" Adobe Creative Cloud
" Partner with Design and multi-discipline internal/external partners on packaging artwork projects
throughout the design development and design execution. Responsible for enabling design intent realization,
ensuring technical fit-for-use and print feasibility, leads design intent implementation and ensures quality
and consistent visual execution across all product forms and variants at FMOT.
" This role requires a fundamental understanding of design, brand identity and design standards/guidelines,
combined with a deep understanding of standard industry pre-press & printing knowledge, materials &
substrates, and artwork file construction/ requirements. Important Responsibilities
Graphic/2D package design execution expert on multifunctional [internal & external] initiative teams,
utilizing deep understanding of supply chain fit-for-use requirements, pre-press & printing, and print
feasibility to ensure design intent realization. Responsible for executing with excellence.
" Partners with pre-press & printers to assess print feasibility of design concepts, identify alternate solutions,
confirm final design intent print feasibility, ensure visual consistency delivered at shelf, and resolve quality
issues
" Plans and manages design execution work and critical path schedule,
" Manages projects within WebCenter, a graphics lifecycle management tool. Provides low-level support
regarding WebCenter to the multi-functional team. Previous experience with Client systems.
