This position provides field service, training and technical support of SiteOne Green Tech products sold by the Company, including, but not limited to, central irrigation control systems, prefabricated pump stations, satellite/controller assemblies, solar power systems, rain water harvesting systems, fertilizer injection and filtration systems.

What you’ll do:

• Professionally represent SiteOne Green Tech and its products to end users
• Diagnose, repair, and certify technical landscape irrigation products sold by the Company
• Perform pump station troubleshooting and repairs
• Troubleshoot two-wire and conventionally wired irrigation systems
• Perform radio and cellular site surveys to ensure proper communication for new installations
• Provide product training to end-users
• Conduct pre-construction meetings
• Schedule and execute weekly territory plan
• Provide quotes to customers for requested repairs
• Complete documentation and send invoices for customer service and repair jobs upon completion using the SiteOne POS system
• Participate in product demonstration with sales personnel
• Generate sales leads for District Sales Managers

Skills and Knowledge:

• Computer skills – Excel, Word, Outlook and ability to learn proprietary company software
• Possess high mechanical aptitude
• Must be computer literate and have good communications skills
• Experience with wire tracing
• Knowledge of irrigation hydraulic principles
• Irrigation and pump electrical troubleshooting
• Knowledge of pump station hydraulic and electrical components
• Knowledge of central control irrigation systems – Including but not limited to Toro/Rain Master, HydroPoint/WeatherTrak/Baseline, Rain Bird and Hunter
• Must have a positive attitude
• Strong desire to learn new products/techniques
• Must have clean DMV record
• Spanish Speaking is a plus

Education and Experience:

• Texas Licensed Irrigator
• Certified Irrigation Technician (CIT) or Certified Irrigation Contractor (CIC) through the Irrigation Association
• Some College or trade school experience, or 3 years of landscape knowledge in lieu of trade school.
• Three years of experience conducting field troubleshooting, repairs and/or installation of commercial/municipal irrigation control equipment
