Minimum High School Diploma
Some college preferred.
Must have experience working with young children in a structured youth program of middle school, preferably in a racially, ethically, and socio-emotionally diverse urban community.
Possess the ability to engage and lead children in small group activities in your area of specialty; strong communication skills, strong organizational skills, excellent judgment, ability to work in a team in a variety of environments.
Candidates possessing skills in foreign languages, visual arts, music, or performing arts are strongly encouraged to apply.
Bilingual is a must.

Expected Work Schedule
This is a seasonal part-time position, working up to 20 hours a week. The Extended Day Program operates[LS1] [AM2] on school days from 2:00pm – 5:30pm, and occasionally on non-school days from 8:00am – 6:00pm. The program operates Monday-Friday only. Workdays/hours subject to change based on ESH’s needs.

This role has no supervisory responsibilities.
Work Environment
This job operates in a professional school environment. This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, photocopiers, filing cabinets and fax machines.
