- Lead and grow a high-performing S&P team for 10-25 Financial Services client accounts. Work directly with S&P leadership, Account leadership and clients to manage expectations and team deliverables. This includes accountability for effectively managing, mentoring, recruiting, and developing a team of world-class Sourcing and Procurement professionals.
- Provide impactful leadership in a cross-functional and collaborative environment to drive immediate and sustained benefits to our client and JLL.
- Drive results through global S&P program implementation, monitoring progress, managing to operational excellence guideline, AND meeting account level KPIs and goals.
- Oversee global client compliance and controls, develop new and innovative sourcing strategies, and identify opportunities for improvement.
- Proactively manage internal and external expectations by understanding business needs and priorities.
Achieves Financial and Compliance Results
- Oversight of annual global sourcing plan development, actively managing that plan with the business, and executing against it.
- Identify risks and opportunities to clients/stakeholders and recommend strategies to achieve company goals while mitigating risk.
- Own global sourcing compliance and controls. Identify and share opportunities for improvement with appropriate functional leaders.
- Ensure all sourcing technology tools are leveraged across account.
- Partner teams closely with operations by providing management, detailed instruction and follow up to support the operations teams in standardized RFP/bid and contracting processes.
- Develop and maintain systematic, analytical, and results-based method for savings, monitoring supplier’s performance, sourcing effectiveness and communicate these results to the business.
Develop and Lead High Performing Teams
- Recruit, develop, rotate, and retain top S&P talent.
- Support the career development of key roles through mentoring and visible leadership.
- Create high-performing, integrated sourcing team that is committed to delivering sustainable global operational excellence.
- Manage and coach teams on their performance, progress and developmental goals including analysing strengths, and areas of opportunity for growth into actionable career development plans.
- Actively participate in talent Supply/Demand by networking, mentoring, and sharing internal and external candidates
- As an S&P leader, foster an inclusive and collaborative team culture within and outside of direct reports.
Establishes and Nurtures Strong Relationships
- Ensure the vision and strategy of the client sourcing plan is implemented and aligned with necessary objectives.
- Lead and Participate in client meetings /strategy sessions
- Establish and maintain relationships within client relationship including but not limited to Account Director, FM Lead, Operations Lead and Finance Director.
- Provide strategic vision for all S&P aspects of business including best practices and innovation.
- Effectively develop and lead complex short-term and longer-term sourcing strategies, effectively manage suppliers and internal networks to deliver best in class performance across the account.
- Establish relationships with key stakeholders including Corporate Legal and Risk Management to ensure all contractual terms and conditions comply with standard or other contract changes are formally reviewed and approved by legal/risk management.
- Continually manage/assess suppliers through the established supplier performance management program.
- Influential leadership – persuasive and instils confidence among stakeholders across any form of communication.
- Collaborative approach – works effectively across a complex matrix organization with a team and firm-first orientation; team with constituents who vary in approach and style to achieve results.
- Company and Industry Knowledge – Demonstrated understanding of JLL Work Dynamics, the Real Estate industry, competitive landscape, and specific industries as applicable.
- Communication and Presentation Skills – Ability to persuasively engage internal and client stakeholders via formal and informal conversations/presentations to achieve Client and Vertical goals.
- Client Centric – Ability to lead with a focus on client needs to create and deliver on solutions expectations by every measure and are valuable to the client and JLL
- Negotiation Skills – Ability to bridge differences to deliver win-win agreements by understanding our value, positions, and points of flexibility.
- Transformational leadership – leads change with energy and resilience to propel the business forward; has the courage to make difficult decisions and take calculated risks; adjusts style to accommodate individuals and the various phases of growth.
- Strategic and critical thinking – exhibits strong levels of insight and has a reputation as a forward thinker
- 10+ years of strategic sourcing experience for services or indirect categories related to facilities services highly desired along with people management experience.
- Bachelor’s Degree – Business or Supply Chain Management preferred.
- MBA, a plus
- CPM, CPSM or CPSD certification preferred.
- Excellent PC skills, proficient in MS applications - Excel, Word & PowerPoint
- E-procurement experience, preferably Jaggaer.
- Willingness to travel within the U.S. (approximately 25%)
- Ability to work remotely (i.e. home office), including on-site at client locations
Estimated total compensation for this position:
175,000.00 – 180,000.00 USD per yearThe total compensation range is an estimate and not guaranteed. An employment offer is based on an applicant's education, experience, skills, abilities, geographic location, internal equity and alignment with market data.
