POSITION SUMMARY:
This position's sole purpose is to be kind and helpful to others. In this role we ask that you assist guests, owners, and teammates with thoughtful, outgoing, energy. The ideal candidate for this role thrives in multitasking, is able to work with teammates or independently. This team member is enthusiastic and professional in person or on the telephone. This candidate is familiar with St. Simons Island and surrounding areas and is able to quickly and easily provide personalized recommendations. A strong mastery of a all-MS Office suite programs as well an aptitude for quickly learning new technology are needed. 9AM-5PM; Tuesday- Saturday, must be available weekends and holidays.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
Assist guests, owners and reservationists. Liaise with partners and vendors. Support others within the office environment.
Respond to guest needs, requests, and complaints. Offer suggestions of activities and dining.
Review property schedules, assist guests and vendors with access.
Enthusiastically greet guests and clients, offer recommendations if requested
Keep records, run daily reporting.
Communicate pertinent guest information to designated departments
QUALIFICATIONS:
Previous experience in customer service, front desk service, or other related fields
Ability to build rapport with guests, owners and clients
Strong organizational skills
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Outgoing, Upbeat, Enthusiastic
Available Tuesday through Sunday and holidays.
COMPENSATION & BENEFITS:
Hourly Rate: $16.00 - $20.00
