Gynecologic Oncology Position
The Division of Gynecologic Oncology (GYN ONC) at the University of Louisville School of Medicine seeks one additional fellowship-trained physician to join our current faculty and provide clinical services at UofL Hospital, our outpatient office, and our outreach hospital sites.
The downtown office contains the following:
- Minimally Invasive Gynecology (MIGS)
- General OB/GYN
- Maternal Fetal Medicine practices
Our East End location contains our:
- Female Pelvic Medicine and Womens Health (FPMRS) Division
- and Pelvic Pain Center
Additionally, GYN ONC provides in-patient and outpatient surgical services at local hospitals in addition to University Hospital, a Level III facility, and has access to multiple infusion sites through our Cancer Center.
There are ample research opportunities including access to basic science labs, a departmental statistician, a departmental librarian, and campus grant-writing services, as well as a clinical trials unit providing research nurses if funded. The University of Louisville has access to robotic surgery, boasting one of the busiest programs in the region and access to the latest robotic technology.
Further, this position can include a relationship with the soon-to-be, newly built VA Hospital, which contains an established GYN clinic and an underutilized Xi robot. The position includes the opportunity to become Division Chief with the potential to build an ACGME fellowship. No obstetrical call is required.
