Effective Pay Rate
When you work at SwiftShift, you are paid per your Effective Pay Rate. Effective Pay Rate has 4 major components:
Service Pay - This is the rate paid to you for delivering in-home services to the client.
Client Support Pay - This is the rate paid to you for supporting clients within your team.
Service Continuity Pay - This is the pay that is paid to every employee for every 500 hours of in-home services delivered.
Weekly Team Pay = This is the pay that is paid to every member of the care team who has delivered 30 or more hours of in-home services without any overtime.

Client Story
Alexandre is a 7-year-old boy diagnosed with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) and is currently being evaluated for Attention-Deficit/Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD). According to his most recent IEP, Alexandre is approximately two years behind his peers in various developmental areas. Despite his challenges, he is a sweet and curious child with a love for sensory activities and visual learning.To address Alexandre's needs, a Home Health Aide (HHA) is requested from Monday to Friday, from 8:30 AM to 3:00 PM. The HHA will assist with the following:1. **Toileting:** Provide regular reminders and support to Alexandre in maintaining a toileting routine, reducing the frequency of accidents.2. **ADLs:** Assist with morning and afternoon routines, including dressing, grooming, and feeding. Encourage Alexandre to participate in these activities to foster independence.3. Supervision: Offer constant supervision during the day to ensure Alexandre's safety, particularly during activities that may involve potential risks, such as outdoor play or when using tools like scissors.4. Educational Support: Collaborate with Alexandre's educational team to reinforce learning activities that align with his IEP goals, offering additional support where needed.5. Behavioral Support: Monitor and manage any signs of ADHD, such as hyperactivity or inattention, by providing structured activities and maintaining a calm, organized environment.With consistent, dedicated care from a Home Health Aide, Alexandre will be better equipped to navigate his daily challenges, work towards his IEP goals, and develop the skills necessary for greater independence. The support will not only ensure his safety and well-being but also promote a positive and enriching daily routine.
