HR Administrator - Benefits and Employee Relations - ADECCO

Adecco is currently assisting an established automotive dealership group seeking a dynamic and experienced HR Administrator - Benefits and Employee Relations to join their team in Pearl River, NY. This starts as a temp-to-hire position, but can turn permanent for the right candidate fast! This role requires expertise in the ADP platform and a commitment to fostering positive employee relations while ensuring adherence to labor laws and regulations. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in benefits administration, employee relations, and compliance within a unionized environment.

 

Key Responsibilities:

• Benefits Administration

  • Oversee the administration of employee benefits programs ensuring compliance with all federal and state regulations.

  • Serve as the primary point of contact for benefits-related inquiries.

  • Manage relationships with benefits vendors and brokers.

• Compliance and Reporting

  • Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal labor laws.

  • Maintain accurate records and prepare necessary reports for compliance, audits, and senior management review.

• Employee Relations

  • Develop and maintain positive employee relations strategies for both union and non-union staff, fostering open communication and engagement.

  • Address and resolve employee issues, grievances, and disputes in a timely manner.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in human resources, Business Administration, or a related field; or equivalent professional experience.

• Proven HR experience, specifically in benefits administration and employee relations within a unionized environment.

• Proficient in ADP Workforce Now and knowledgeable in labor laws, benefits regulations, and compliance requirements.

• Exceptional communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills.

Benefits:

• Competitive salary of $70,000 - $80,000 yearly.

Pay Details: $36.00 to $38.00 per hour
