Highflyer is currently looking to hire a Human Resources Assistant to join our HR team. Our HR Concierge service is a comprehensive HR service that enables businesses to grow. The individual in this position will be responsible for completing HR client HR infrastructure projects as assigned.
Primary Duties include, but are not limited to:
Client Project Support (85%)
- Build custom HR tools for clients including, but not limited to job descriptions, compensation ranges, HR process checklists, EE retention tools (including surveys), EEO and OSHA reports, new hire packages, termination packages, performance management tools, handbooks, etc.
- Coordinate leave management.
- Assist other staff in providing exceptional service to clients.
- Support managers in new HR client Assessment meetings.
- Assess and update client documents.
- Collaborate with HR Advisor on building strategic plans.
Administrative (15%)
- Create/Update client documents including digital onboarding.
- Assist client with FMLA documents and compliance
- Document disciplinary actions
- Customize and maintain Harassment Prevention & other Training Presentations.
- Perform other duties as assigned based on business need.
Minimum two (2) years' experience in Human Resources is required. Incumbents must demonstrate the ability to: present well to multiple clients; follow directions from a supervisor and interact well with co-workers; and exhibit professionalism, initiative, and commitment.
In addition, candidates must have:
- Excellent oral and written communication.
- Must be very familiar with FLSA, FMLA, EEO, ADA and how each impacts employers and employees.
- Ability to interact positively with different types of personalities.
- Understand a client's needs and deliver an appropriate product solution.
- Able to learn and use iSolved and Microsoft Office 365.
- Strong organization and time management skills; and,
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills: writing, editing, and presenting.
