We are seeking an energetic and passionate HR Coordinator to join our dynamic team in the manufacturing industry. This is a hybrid role, offering a unique blend of both remote and on-site work. The ideal candidate will have a comprehensive understanding of HR functions, from employee relations to workforce planning and development. With a strong emphasis on maintaining a positive work environment, the HR Coordinator will play a crucial role in fostering employee engagement and ensuring adherence to HR policies.
Responsibilities:
As an HR Coordinator, you will be responsible for:
1. Managing and resolving complex employee relations issues, conducting effective, thorough, and objective investigations when necessary.
2. Maintaining in-depth knowledge of legal requirements related to day-to-day management of employees, reducing legal risks, and ensuring regulatory compliance.
3. Providing day-to-day performance management guidance to line management (coaching, counseling, career development, disciplinary actions).
4. Working closely with management and employees to improve work relationships, build morale, increase productivity and retention.
5. Providing HR policy guidance and interpretation.
6. Developing contract terms for new hires, promotions, and transfers.
7. Providing guidance and input on business unit restructures, workforce planning, and succession planning.
8. Identifying training needs for business units and individual executive coaching needs.
9. Participating in evaluation and monitoring of training programs to ensure success, and revising programs as necessary.
10. Maintaining HRIS database and generating regular and ad hoc reports as required.
Qualifications:
The ideal candidate for the HR Coordinator position will have:
1. A Bachelor's degree in Human Resources Management or a related field.
2. A minimum of 5 years of experience in Human Resources roles, preferably in the manufacturing industry.
3. Proven experience in employee relations, HRIS, HR policies, training and development, workforce planning, and employee engagement.
4. Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to make sound decisions based on accurate and timely analyses.
5. High level of interpersonal skills and integrity; solid team player.
6. Ability to handle and maintain the confidentiality of sensitive information.
7. Outstanding written and verbal communication skills, with an aptitude for creating strong presentations and reports.
8. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and HRIS systems.
