Job Summary/Company: Sparks Group has partnered with a woman-owned government consulting organization seeking an HR Generalist to bring their tactical and strategic knowledge within their leadership team
If you bring experience handling the gamut of HR responsibilities within the government contracting space, a positive can-do attitude, and innovative approach to HR, apply now!
This position requires to be able to work on site 4 days/week with 1 day remote.
Vaccination and annual booster for Covid-19 required.
Responsibilities:
Research and draft HR policies for the organization
Handle all employment-related inquiries, referring complex/sensitive matters to appropriate staff
Conduct full cycle recruiting, including bid/retention for gov con proposals
Coordinate and execute new hire orientation
Complete pre employment requirements including reference checks
Prepare spreadsheets and reports
Review and edit HR content
Draft and edit job requisitions for posting
Oversight on performance management and trainings
Act as liaison with benefits broker
Manage HRIS and evaluate alternative options for process improvements
Address all employee relations matters
Other duties as assigned
Qualifications/Background Profile:
SHRM certification required
Bachelor degree required
Experience with Bamboo or other HRIS
US Citizenship required
Proficient with MS Office Suite
Ability to work independently and as part of leadership team
Knowledge in HR legal matters, including risk avoidance
HUBZone Residency preferred

Pay Range: Salary $90,000.00 to $105,000.00
