We are assisting our client in seeking a dynamic HR & Payroll Generalist to join their team in their Ennis, Texas location. This role covers a wide array of responsibilities relating to payroll and human resources.

We are assisting our client in seeking a dynamic HR & Payroll Generalist to join their team in their Ennis, Texas location. This role covers a wide array of responsibilities relating to payroll and human resources.
Responsibilities:
- Provide onsite administrative support to human resources department and payroll.
- Oversee all Payroll functions.
- Ensure compliance with all State and Federal regulations regarding employment documentation
- Process weekly payroll accurately and timely
- As needed, assist with employee benefits administration
- Assisting in maintaining comprehensive employee records & other files
- Assistance with facilitating orientations, training schedules, and other meetings as required
- Assist with scanning, coding, document uploading, and database entry
- Support accounting team with data entry as needed
- Foster cross-departmental collaboration in a team environment
- Occasional incoming phone calls, directing them appropriately
Qualifications:
- Experience: 2-5 years in HR Generalist, payroll, and benefits management
- College degree strongly preferred in similar area of focus
- Preferred Skills: Familiarity with UKG Ready or similar ERP system
- Light accounting knowledge preferred
- Attention to Detail: Demonstrated accuracy and organizational skills
- Multitasking: Ability to manage multiple projects and prioritize effectively, and shift focus when needed
- Interpersonal Skills: Collaborative work style with strong verbal and written communication abilities
- Administrative Proficiency: Strong administrative and clerical skills
- High level of confidentiality
