About the Job
The Community Health Center of Buffalo, Inc. is seeking an experienced HR professional to serve as on-site HR Manager. In this role you will manage the day-to-day operations of the HR office, coordinating various HR functions including recruitment, selection, onboarding, employee relations, payroll, benefits administration and credentialing processes. You will also supervise HR Assistants.
**Responsibilities:**
- Ensures compliance with Federal, State, and local laws and regulations in all HR activities
- Assists in administering human resource programs such as compensation, benefits, leaves, disciplinary matters, training, and performance management
- Manages employee recruitment, selection, and onboarding processes in collaboration with department managers
- Coordinates the performance evaluation program and tracks compliance with mandatory employee training
- Assists with employee and labor relations functions, including disciplinary actions and terminations
- Ensures the maintenance of employee personnel records and coordinates external audits for compliance
- Oversees the bi-weekly payroll process, including reviewing timecards and processing payroll deductions
- Participates in Quality Improvement and Quality Assurance activities
-Oversees credentialing and re-credentialing processes.
- Contributes to the development of strategic short and long-term HR plans
**Qualifications:**
-Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration, Human Resources, or a related field with three years of full-time HR experience, including staff supervision. Provider credentialing and payroll processing experience are a plus. SHRM-CP designation is also advantageous.

**Physical Demands:**
This position requires prolonged periods of sitting, standing, walking, bending, and computer work. It involves accessing and navigating different departments and facilities, with associated job stress.
**Salary :**
$62,000 - $65,000
