Human Resources Manager - Chelmsford MA(local candidates only)
4 days onsite, 1 remote - starting salary at $95k base

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Stay current on federal, multi-state, and case law changes, regulatory updates, and other legislative issues. Advise management on necessary actions and maintain HR policies and the Employee Handbook.
- Process bi-monthly payroll, maintain employee data and reporting, and assist with monitoring the company wage and salary structure, including bonuses and raises.
- Provide proactive and reactive support to the business, managing and resolving employee relation issues with managers and team leaders.
- Develop and implement strategies for sourcing, attracting, and recruiting applicants. Manage employee orientation and onboarding.
- Manage all employee benefit programs, including enrollment, disenrollment, monthly reconciliation of benefit invoices, and liaison with brokers.
- Work with the Learning and Development Specialist to coordinate training and track participation. Assist with the implementation of company safety and health programs, including tracking and posting OSHA-required data and filing reports.
- Assist with organizational development processes, addressing succession planning, workforce development, employee retention, organization design, and change management.
- Facilitate employee communication and feedback through company meetings, suggestion programs, satisfaction surveys, focus groups, one-on-one meetings, and more.
- Provide HR data analytics to Executive Management. Help monitor and foster a positive organizational culture that supports company goals and promotes employee satisfaction.
- Assist with planning and executing company events such as parties and luncheons.
Education and Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree, with active PHR or SPHR certification.
- 5 years of HR Generalist experience in a small to medium-sized, growing company.
- Payroll experience required, Paylocity preferred.
- Strong knowledge of federal and state labor laws.
- Solid knowledge of benefits, administration, recruiting, and compliance.
- Ability to handle confidential matters with discretion and good judgment.
- Attention to detail and excellent time management skills, with a proven ability to meet deadlines.
- Experience with software implementation is a plus.
- Proactive, trustworthy, and responsive.
