Job Summary:
The Human Resource Manager will play a critical role in the organization by partnering with the HR Director to deliver outcomes based on the HR strategy. They will have responsibility for the day-to-day operations of the HR generalist including but not limited to, recruitment, employee relations, performance management, and HR best practices while facilitating a positive relationship between employees, managers, and the HR team.
The ideal candidate will understand how to analyze data for their decision-making and evaluation of success. They will have experience with all HR competencies. They will be enthusiastic about creating a positive work environment and attracting and retaining top talent.
Duties/Responsibilities:
- Partners with the HR Director to understand and execute the departments' strategy particularly as it relates to current and future talent needs, recruiting, retention, performance management, and succession planning.
- Provides support and guidance to HR generalists, management, and other staff when complex, specialized, and sensitive questions and issues arise; required to administer and execute routine tasks in delicate circumstances such as providing reasonable accommodations, investigating allegations of wrongdoing, and terminations.
- Manages the talent acquisition process, which may include recruitment, interviewing, and hiring of qualified job applicants, in both professional roles and high-volume recruiting.
- Oversees employee disciplinary meetings, terminations, and investigations.
- Manages the day-to-day workload for the HR generalist.
- Maintains compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations, and recommends best practices; reviews policies and practices to maintain compliance.
- Maintains knowledge of trends, best practices, regulatory changes, and new technologies in human resources, talent management, and employment law.
- Performs other duties as assigned.

- Ability to travel.
Education and Experience:
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field required.
- At least five years of related experience is required.
- SHRM-CP or SHRM-SCP is highly desired.
Physical Requirements:
- Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
- This position is on-site, five days per week (Monday – Friday).
- Ability to travel up to 25% of the time.
