Job Description- Location: World Resource Center in Ann Arbor, MI
- Shift: Standard 40 hour work week (8-4)
- Compensation: 60K with a 5% bonus
The HR Shared Services department is the internal service provider for benefits, payroll, and all other HR-related inquiries, providing prompt, accurate and thorough help on all employment-related matters for Team Members at any level. The Associate HR-Ops Specialist ensures integrity of data in and out of HRIS system of record (PeopleSoft), including, but not limited to: pay adjustments, job data entries, data audits and governance, while also supporting cross function projects and consistently looking towards process improvement.

RESPONSIBILITIES AND DUTIES
(75%) Provide Market Support and Case Resolution
- Runs weekly/monthly audits to mitigate data gaps and identify trends, as necessary.
- Resolve tickets created from the Team Member Service Center (TMSC) or through e-mail requests; Track and document work in Service Now ticketing system
- Investigate resolution to open inquiries using direct communication with necessary parties (e.g. HRBP, Payroll, Benefits, Compensation) or other internal or external resources to determine root causes
- Respond and resolve help desk inquiries. Track and report on overall quantity and type of help desk requests and resolutions. Identify and report findings of end-user needs/issues. Initiate efforts and procedures to maintain data integrity, troubleshoot and recommend solutions.
- Maintain Team Member personnel files by electronically file papers and documents accordingly
- Actively participate and make contributions in team meetings and one-on-one meetings.
- Perform other duties as assigned
(10%) Facilitate Completion of HR Projects
- Support and facilitate Mid-Year and Year End Processes, including, but not limited to: PTO accruals and carryover, PTO EOY payouts, HRIS EOY data clean up.
- Develop and deliver user training on HR processes and systems
- Provide support to projects within and outside of HR-Operations team
- Other projects as necessary
(15%) Continuous Process Improvement
- Maintain and revise existing internal processes and procedures to reduce steps and cost per transaction
- Train and educate other associates on revised processes and procedures
- Perform employee record data audits to maintain data integrity and identify root-causes of discrepancies
- Support implementation and test specifications for new HRIS functionality
- Partner with internal customers and other HR departments to improve responsiveness and accuracy
- Collaborate with TMSC regarding new processes or procedures
- Bachelor’s degree required, with concentration in Human Resources strongly preferred
- 1-2 years’ experience with human resources (can include internships)
- Experience with Microsoft Office products including Word, Excel, and Outlook
- Experience with HR Management Systems, Ticket Management Applications, and Applicant Tracking Systems preferred
- Exceptional written, oral and phone communication skills required
- Excellent customer service skills
- Attention to detail, and investigative mindset
- Ability to prioritize and multi-task
