Summary:
The HR Benefits and Administration Specialist administers and maintains employee benefit programs while maintaining responsibility for guest and visitor experiences. The incumbent will be highly visible and will directly interact with internal and external customers on behalf of the leadership team. Plan
Responsibilities:
Planning & Administering: Plan and administer employee benefit programs in alignment with Bank strategy and culture, and in compliance with all state and federal regulations.
Maintenance & Coordination: Maintain and update employee records and benefit files. Coordinate daily benefits processing, including enrollments, terminations and claims.
Evaluation & Vendor Management: Liaise with vendors and coordinate contracts for new and existing plans. Evaluate the efficiency and value of current benefit programs and make recommendations for improvement. Review and audit program agreements to ensure vendor service levels meet bank and regulatory standards.
Payroll Collaboration: Collaborate with payroll to ensure that employer contributions and payroll deductions are processed accurately and timely. Backup the Payroll Administrator, if needed.
Office Administration: Assist with general office administration, including ordering supplies, maintaining conference rooms, and organizing office storage.
Reporting & Presentations: Maintain and create records, reports, and documentation in accordance with federal, state, and provider regulations. Prepare and compile reports as requested by executives. Assist in preparing and producing presentations and decks.
Event & Meeting Coordination: Schedule and host meetings and events. Arrange catering and dining for meetings/events. Coordinate ski pass use and other marketing efforts.
Guest Relations: Create an exceptional experience for all guests and visitors.
Projects & Other Job Duties: Ad hoc projects and other job duties, as assigned.
Specifications:
- 2+ years' experience as a benefits administrator
- Expert knowledge of relevant polices and regulations.
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills
- The ability to multitask and prioritize competing projects to meet deadlines while working independently.
- Remarkable interpersonal skills, and proven ability to communicate effectively with executive management, employees, and external stakeholders.
- Highly proficient in Microsoft Office including, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
