About the Opportunity
The human resource information system (HRIS) analyst is responsible for overseeing the design, implementation, and maintenance of the organization's Workday system.
Duties and Responsibilities
- Performs system maintenance, including assisting in the review, testing, and implementation of HRIS upgrades or patches. Collaborates with functional and technical staff to coordinate application of upgrade or fix. Actively seeks ways to leverage any new functionality of the system.
- Recommends process/customer service improvements, innovative solutions, process improvements, and best practices as it related to the HRIS
- Responsible for developing and enhancing strong partnerships/collaboration with departments to gather information and translate that into a business process/system functionality that both aligns with the needs of the business and keeps the end user experience in mind.
- Provides tier 2 technical support for HR department and SMEs as it relates to systems, best practices, processes, access, and reporting needs. Recommends solutions or alternate methods to meet requirements as needed.
- Generates reports, including writing, maintaining, and supporting a variety of reports utilizing appropriate reporting tools. Assists in development of standard reports for ongoing customer needs. Helps maintain data integrity and security in systems by running audit reports and analyzing data.
- Conducts training, including developing user procedures, guidelines, and documentation. Trains clients on new processes/functionality. Trains new system users.
- Maintain current awareness of industry trends, techniques, and best practices.
Requirements and Qualifications

- A bachelor's degree in human resource management, information technology, computer science, or a related field
- A minimum of five years of experience in HRIS analysis, administration, or development
- A solid knowledge of HR processes, functions, and regulations
- A strong technical skills and proficiency in Workday
- A high level of analytical, problem-solving, and project management skills
- A excellent communication, interpersonal, and presentation skills
- A ability to work independently and collaboratively with a diverse team
- A attention to detail, accuracy, and confidentiality
