Overview: Our client is looking for an HRIS Analyst for a HYBRID position based out of Richmond, VA.
Responsibilities:
- The Human Resource Information System (HRIS) Analyst will support and maintain the organizations HRIS applications and modules.
- Need an HRIS Analyst to perform support, configuration, and large volume data entry tasks in DOCTime (Time, Attendance, and Leave Management) and Cardinal Human Capital Management (HCM).
- The individual will perform back-end data and configuration work (much of which is very manual-touching individual employee time & system records) but will also be responsible for managing mailboxes with customer requests/inquires for systems access and other inquiries.
- Supports the HRIS Unit, which may include large volume of data entry in both the Time and Attendance System (DOCTime) and Human Capital Management system (Cardinal).
- Provides technical support, troubleshooting, and guidance to HR system users.
- Manages permissions, access, personalization, and similar system operations and settings for HR system users.
- Managing mailboxes with customer requests/inquires for access and other needs.
- Audits and updates HRIS data fields as necessary.
- Programs custom functions and documentation such as automated queries, filters, and reports.
- Compiles or assists with the acquisition of complex data reports, summaries, and logs for senior executives and HR staff.
- Ensures system compliance with data security and privacy requirements.
- Collaborates with HR staff and vendor to identify system improvements and enhancements; recommends and implements solutions.
- Maintains knowledge of trends and developments in HRIS providers, vendors, and technology.
- Performs other duties as required.

- Familiarity with human resource policies and procedures to ensure the HRIS meets organizational needs and goals.

- Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software, with strong Excel skills.
- Thorough understanding of all areas of information systems with a highly technical understanding of at least one commercial HRIS product.
- At least two years related experience required.
- Bachelor's degree in computer science, human resource management, or related field preferred.
- SHRM Certified Professional (SHRM-CP) or SHRM Senior Certified Professional (SHRM-SCP) credential preferred.
