About the Job
Serves as a subject matter expert (SME) for all functions relating to the processing of employee information and maintaining employee records in HRIS, and other related systems. Serves as a key contributor on HR system, data and workflow projects. Maintains and demonstrates advanced technical proficiency in all HR systems and related technologies.
Processes day to day transactions as they relate to New Hires, Terminations, Status Changes, Name Changes and other various changes that impact employee records.
Coordinates with Payroll to ensure employee pay changes and transactions are processed accurately.
Provides support for technical issues related to accessing all HRIS systems such as registration, login issues and password resets.
Produces report requests from various departments, including Firm Administration, HR, Diversity & Inclusion, Marketing, EOT, etc.
Assists with training and guiding end-users on how to perform tasks and transactions in Employee Self Service applications. Assists in user acceptance testing for system patches, upgrades, and other computer system changes both internally and vendor driven.
May Serve as a key contributor on HRIS projects and system implementations/upgrades with oversight and guidance from the HRIS Manager.
Provides continuous support to HR that includes, but not limited to, ensuring data integrity, analyzing and identifying process improvements and efficiencies, and assisting in the creation of communication materials for end-users. Maintains accurate electronic employment records for all employees.
Responds to inquiries regarding policies and procedures; ensures proper interpretation is used consistently across the firm.
Processes new employee Form I-9 within the eVerify system.
Responsible for processing both verbal and written employment verification requests.
Answers questions and resolves data integrity issues related to employee profiles and records within HRIS and other related systems.
Maintains a courteous, professional demeanor under stress and maintains confidentiality at all times.
Bachelor's degree from four-year college or university, and minimum of three years HRIS related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Experience in Information Technology in an HR environment to include computer systems and applications. A wide range of technical skills including HRIS systems. Advanced Excel skill level is preferred.
