Description
Responsible for managing, optimizing, and supporting the human resource information systems at the college. This includes data management, reporting, integrity and security of HR data. The HRIS Analyst will report to the HRIS Manager and will work closely with the entire HR team to implement new features, troubleshoot issues, and provide training to staff on system use

Pay dates occur on the 7th and 22nd of each month. If those dates fall on a weekend, the pay date occurs on the Friday prior to the 7th and 22nd. As an employee of the college, you are eligible for a comprehensive benefits package.

Key Responsibilities
Reporting & Analytics: Develop, generate, and distribute HR-related reports and dashboards, including regular monthly reports, annual reports, census reports, as well as ad hoc requests for data and reports. Analyze and report on staffing initiatives on a recurring basis, such as turnover/attrition and staff demographics, and make recommendations for additional analytic methods of measurement on statistically significant trends.
Data Integrity: Regularly audit HR data to ensure accuracy, completeness, and compliance with the relevant regulations, policies, and procedures.
System Optimization: Assist in identifying opportunities for system improvements, process automation, and integration with other systems. Work with the HRIS Manager to identify opportunities to improve and/or document processes and workflows within the college’s ERP and with integrations to other third-party systems.
User Support, Testing & Training: Provide technical support and training to HR staff and other end-users on Human Resource Management Systems. Create and update user guides and training materials. Assist in testing new systems and software.
Project Management: Support HRIS-related projects such as system upgrades, module implementations, and process improvements.
Collaboration: Work closely with IT, Payroll, PRIA, and other departments to ensure the HRIS meets organizational needs and integrates smoothly with other systems.
Manage and update system records related to open enrollment, merit and leave accruals.
Provide data entry back-up to the HRIS Specialist when needed.
Special projects and duties as assigned.
Skills, Knowledge and Expertise
Bachelor’s degree, preferably in information systems, computer science, human resources management, or business administration.
• At least two years of experience in various duties listed above.
• Proficiency in data management and reporting tools.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to troubleshoot system issues.
• Excellent communication skills with the ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical users.
• Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams.
• Ability to multi-task and manage multiple priorities.
• Strong advanced Excel skills required (pivot tables, vlookups and sumifs)
