Job Description
The Human Resource Information System (HRIS) Analyst will support and maintain the organizations HRIS applications and modules. The Virginia Department of Corrections (VADOC) is in need of an HRIS Analyst to perform support, configuration, and large volume data entry tasks in DOC Time (Time, Attendance, and Leave Management) and Cardinal Human Capital Management (HCM). The individual will perform back-end data and configuration work (much of which is very manual-touching individual employee time & system records), but will also be responsible for managing mailboxes with customer requests/inquires for systems access and other inquiries.
Expected Duration:
While the PO is only issued through the remainder of the year to align with the cycle of existing POs, the agency will be extending another 6-12 months if we get a candidate that is performing as we expect.
Background Check:
Candidate will have to undergo a DOC background check in addition to the normal background check process in Vector. Please allow for additional onboarding time.
Supervisory Responsibilities:
This position has no supervisory responsibilities.
Work Arrangement:
Selected candidate would need to be able to report to the office as needed (meetings, etc.). They would have a great degree of flexibility in teleworking, unless performance concerns were identified that needed to be more actively supervised.
