Job Summary
The HRIS Team Lead is responsible for overall process efficiency, data integrity, and proactively analyzing business opportunities alongside technical processes, to streamline, automate and improve our Workday platform.
This leader will provide strategic management and guidance to Subject Matter Experts, Business Processes Leaders, and Project Teams; serving as the HRIS Project Lead when any additional system implementations, upgrades or changes occur. They are responsible for leading a team of colleagues to provide functional and analytical support around one-two core HR business processes,.
RESPONSIBILITIES
Lead a team of 3 to 5 HRIS analysts to achieve goals that contribute to the growth of the organization
Partner with various HR and IT leaders and helps define HRIS strategy and roadmap and ensures alignment with business needs
Collaborate with functional HR leaders and drive business process improvements by leveraging technology (Workday HCM) and liaising with the IT teams and vendor partners
Lead the design of process and technology to deliver metrics-based results such as HRIS data accuracy and project implementation timeliness,
Lead technology implementations and upgrades (Workday project) from a core HR perspective, partnering with HR functional leaders, IT and technology implementation partners
Partner with functional HR leaders to prioritize business needs and implement a strong project management cadence in delivering solutions. This includes leading weekly prioritization meetings, measuring the effectiveness of solutions and managing customer expectations
Build a high-performing team that focuses on customer service while increasing the effectiveness and efficiency of the HRIS function
Advise COEs on technology capabilities; Understand needs of COEs, prioritize enhancement requests, and uncover opportunities for automation.
Be a conduit between the HR and IT teams to answer questions or escalate issues as needed; Foster best practice discussions among COEs and end users to realize process improvements and workforce efficiencies.
Co-create, with process owners, the most efficient business processes across the HR Service Delivery platform, utilizing existing HR systems.
Work with the IT teams and COEs to ensure new processes, system enhancements and integrations are properly tested and documented.
QUALIFICATIONS
Education
Bachelor’s degree required
Experience
2+ years of experience in implementing HR applications, specifically Workday - modules, including, but not limited to – Core HR, Recruiting, Talent, Performance, Compensation, and/or Payroll.
1+ years in HRIS management, preferably Workday HCM demonstrating a strong understanding of HR and Payroll business processes
Proven work experience as a Sr. Analyst up to and including team leader with excellent communication, organizational and time management skills
Experience successfully managing HRIS systems implementations
Strong analytical, multitasking, and interpersonal skills required
Exceptional people skills with demonstrated ability to communicate effectively with both a technical audience and business users
Proven track record of managing cross-functional partnerships, (ie, business leadership up to C-suite, IT, Finance, Legal, and HR)
Professional Skills
Experience building and managing case tool reports/SLAs to manage the effectiveness and efficiency of the HRIS team
Strong experience in building a partnership with HR business leaders, IT teams and vendor partners
Strong aptitude in managing conflicting unclear priorities and delivering on customer expectations
Physical Demands
While performing the duties of this job, the colleague is regularly required to sit, stand, walk and use hands and fingers to operate a computer keyboard, mouse, and telephone to talk and hear.
The colleague is frequently required to sit and reach with hands and arms.
