As an HVAC Designer I, you'll play a crucial role in supporting our Product Engineers. Your primary responsibilities will include completing detailed drawings and Bill of Materials (BOM) for sheet metal parts. This position is perfect for those who are passionate about HVAC design and are looking to develop their skills within a leading industry provider.
Responsibilities:
- Assist Product Engineers in the creation of detailed drawings and BOMs for sheet metal components.
- Utilize 3D CAD software (Solid Edge or SolidWorks preferred) to produce accurate designs.
- Apply basic knowledge of HVAC DOAS products and sheet metal design principles.
- Ensure that all designs adhere to company standards and project specifications.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support the development of innovative HVAC solutions.
Qualifications:
- High School Diploma or equivalent (GED).
- 2 + years of relevant experience in HVAC design or a related field.
- Actively pursuing an A.S. degree in Drafting and Design or an equivalent qualification (2 years of experience preferred).
- Intermediate proficiency in 3D CAD software, with experience in Solid Edge or SolidWorks.
- Basic understanding of 2D drawing geometry and sheet metal design principles.
- Familiarity with HVAC DOAS products is a plus.
