What You’ll Do:
- Lead Engineering Projects: Design and develop HVAC systems and energy models, applying thermodynamic principles to create innovative solutions that exceed client expectations.
- Project Management: Manage entire projects from inception to completion, ensuring that work stays on schedule, within scope, and on budget. Oversee and mentor project teams.
- Technical Leadership: Approve final equipment selections, drawing submittals, and ensure technical accuracy. Provide work direction to team members and subcontractors.
- Business Development Support: Contribute to business growth by preparing proposals, participating in client meetings, and providing technical presentations to potential customers.
- Collaboration Across Disciplines: Work closely with architectural, electrical, civil, and structural teams to deliver comprehensive solutions.
- Construction Administration: Lead project meetings, review change orders, respond to RFIs, and ensure all construction processes align with project goals.
Requirements
What You Bring:
- Experience: A minimum of 8 years of hands-on experience in mechanical engineering within large-scale commercial projects.
- Technical Expertise: Proficiency in Revit and AutoCAD for HVAC and energy modeling design. Strong understanding of other engineering disciplines such as architectural, electrical, civil, and structural.
- Leadership & Communication: Excellent meeting management skills with the ability to build rapport and maintain credibility with clients, team members, and stakeholders.
- Problem Solver: Strong ability to think critically and provide innovative solutions under tight deadlines.
Required Qualifications:
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering.
- Certification: Professional Engineering Registration is required.
