About the Job
Our client, a leading Mechanical and Construction company in New Jersey is looking for an HVAC Project Manager.
Job Responsibilities:
- Organize and oversee HVAC projects, ensuring they are completed on time.
- Proficiency in Procore, Microsoft Exchange and MS Office.
- Ability to read Technical & Architectural drawings.
- Demonstrate extensive knowledge of HVAC trades.
- Ability to write vendor/subcontractor scope of work.
- Set-up a workable schedule for job cost control, labor, material, equipment and subcontractors.
- Set-up a pre-planning meeting with internal project stakeholders.
- Work with Estimating Department on all equipment and material buyouts.
- Work with project team to ensure job drawings and change orders are up to date.
- Manage financial aspects of the contract, including but not limited to: financial forecasting, manpower forecasting, job cost tracking, preparing monthly billings, etc.
- Interface with subcontractors, engineers, architect, and owners as required.
- Communicate effectively and professionally with clients, laborers, vendors and subcontractors.
General Qualifications
- 5+ years HVAC project management experience.
- BS in Mechanical Engineering a plus.
- Computer proficiency with Microsoft Office.
- Self-directed with strong time-management skills.
- Exceptional communication, writing and interpersonal skills.
