This role is a senior level position responsible for accomplishing results through the management of a team in an effort to prevent, monitor and respond to cyber attacks
Your objective is to ensure the directives and activities are in alignment with policies
You’ll be prepared to receive calls on a 24/7 basis and respond to incidents or crises.In this role you will develop, track, maintain, and respond to KPI associated with the role as well as conduct meetings with stakeholders having primary security involvement
You’ll have oversight of security system operations, to include periodic audits and spot checks on functionality, as well as ensuring job performance. You are proactive and can lead or assist with investigations in matters that related to security
You have the ability to demonstrate financial acumen to make strategic decisions, engage in negotiations, evaluate issues, propose solutions as it related to budget and planning
You are a been there, accomplished leader who has led large SOC teams, has a background in threat hunt back in the day and incident response processes. You’ll be a leader that inspires the team and encourages and facilitates growth, education, certification, diversity and empowerment
In addition, you’ll be a poised leader and team player who gains support from all levels of the organization, including senior executives
You're the kind of person with advanced follow up skills with the attention to detail to multitask, strong team orientation and interpersonal skills.In this role, you will:Manage a team of engineering managers and engineering leadsFocus on delivering commitments aligned to enterprise strategic prioritiesBuild support for strategies with business and technology leadersGuide development of actionable roadmaps and plansIdentify opportunities and strategies for continuous improvement of software engineering practicesProvide oversight to software craftsmanship, security, availability, resilience, and scalability of solutions developed by the teams or third party providersIdentify financial management and strategic resourcingSet risk management guidelines and partner with stakeholders to implement key risk initiativesLead implementation of projects and encourage engineering innovationCollaborate and influence all levels of professionals including more experienced managersInterface with external agencies, regulatory bodies or industry forumsManage allocation of people and financial resources for Technology Strategic LeadershipRequired Qualifications:8+ years of Technology Strategic Leadership experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education4+ years of Management experience5 years leading a Security Operations Center or Global Security Operations CenterDesired Qualifications:Hold advanced certifications in cyber such as CISA, CISM, CISSP, CEHExperience with networking infrastructure, cybersecurity tools and technologiesEndpoint and network experience: IDS, IPS, EDR, ATP, malware defenses and monitoringThreat hunt experience highly preferredKnowledge of common adversary tactics and techniques such as persistence, defense, evasion and obfuscationKnowledge of Mitre FrameworkPay RangeReflected is the base pay range offered for this position
