- Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
- 10 years of experience in management consulting, sales operations, business strategy, investment banking, venture capital, private equity or corporate advisory, or 8 years of experience with an advanced degree.
- 5 years of experience working with executive stakeholders.
Preferred qualifications:
- Experience in planning, sales or marketing, and structuring and implementing initiatives with sales teams.
- Experience leading business strategy development for large multinational organization.
- Experience leading and managing high-performing teams, fostering a collaborative and inclusive environment that promotes innovation, accountability and high performance, including ability to develop and inspire talent.
- Deep expertise in multiple critical business areas, including understanding of the broader industry and competitive landscape.
- Demonstrated thought leadership and ability to influence direction and strategy at the executive level.
- Proven track record of owning decision-making and execution for large, complex projects across multiple teams and business/product areas.

The Go-To-Market (GTM) team ensures Google's complex and ever-evolving Ads business runs smoothly. We are instrumental in setting Go-To-Market strategy, and ensuring flawless execution and operations against the strategy. We have teams embedded in each of the major Ads business areas as well as global teams that work across the business areas. Team members are analytical and strategic, with a pragmatic sense of how to get things done.
As Head of Services and Distribution Solutions (SDS) Go-To-Market Operations, you are responsible for maintaining sales cadence for the Large Customer Sales (LCS) business as well as strategic planning for future growth, primarily partnering with the VP of SDS LCS (Services), Industry Directors, other members of the SDS Management Group, as well as cross-channel and cross-functional partners. You will ensure delivery of the business priorities for the Sector, define and deliver strategies and programs to improve sales effectiveness and efficiency across the entire business.
Responsibilities
- Partner with Sales executives to drive business plans and Go-To-Market sales strategy.
- Build consensus among cross-functional teams and consult decision making within senior-level audiences.
- Structure and lead large-scale operational improvement initiatives through implementation. Identify and resolve issues impacting business growth.
- Run smooth, efficient sales launch processes leading planning and supporting sales activation programs, headcount planning, objective setting, sales cadence, portfolio management, and escalations.
- Lead a high-performing team to deliver on all strategic and operational priorities.
