Job Details
The Project Manager is responsible for the overall planning, management, and execution of work for assigned construction projects. May be assigned responsibility for one or more projects at a time.
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in civil engineering, construction management or related field, or the equivalent education and experience.
Minimum of 5+ years relevant experience in the Healthcare Construction Industry
The ideal candidate will bring a deep understanding of healthcare construction requirements, including strict regulatory compliance, infection control, and unique safety standards. This role involves end-to-end project management, from pre-construction planning through to completion, ensuring each project meets cost, schedule, quality, and safety benchmarks.
Key Responsibilities:
Project Planning & Coordination:
Develop comprehensive project plans, including timelines, budgets, resource requirements, and procurement schedules.
Coordinate with architects, engineers, subcontractors, and facility management teams to meet project specifications.
Manage and oversee the planning and execution of construction phases, ensuring adherence to healthcare-specific standards.
Review construction documents and plans to ensure compliance with healthcare codes, including infection control, patient safety, and accessibility requirements.
Budget Management & Cost Control:
Establish and manage project budgets, tracking and controlling costs to stay within financial targets.
Identify cost-saving opportunities, negotiate with suppliers and subcontractors, and ensure efficient use of resources.
Prepare regular budget and progress reports for management and stakeholders, identifying and addressing variances as needed.
Has a valid driver's license and a good driving record
