Position Overview:

Hearing Care Centers is seeking a compassionate and skilled Hearing Instrument Specialist to join their team.

Key Responsibilities: 

• Conduct comprehensive hearing evaluations and consultations, explaining results and recommended treatment options to patients.
  
• Fit, program, and adjust hearing aids and other hearing instruments, ensuring they meet each patient's individual needs and preferences.
  
• Educate patients and caregivers on hearing aid maintenance, troubleshooting, and optimal usage.
  
• Provide follow-up care and adjustments as needed, creating a positive, patient-focused experience at every visit.
  
• Maintain accurate patient records and document services in compliance with HIPAA and practice policies.
  

Requirements

• Valid licensure as a Hearing Instrument Specialist in Connecticut.
  
• Proven experience in hearing instrument dispensing, fitting, and adjustments.
  
• Strong interpersonal skills, with a commitment to creating a warm and supportive patient experience.
  
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment.
