Heavy Duty Parts - Picker/Packer (South Park) - Snap-on Inc

Overview

Challenger Lifts, Inc., a division of Snap-on is seeking a candidate that would be responsible for fulfillment of all service parts orders, pack and ship via LTL carrier(s), FedEx, and/or UPS package services. 

Responsibilities

• Fulfill service parts orders and package
• Drive a forklift
• Stock and control inventory of parts
• Receive and stock service parts
• Data entry required to fulfill and ship orders
• Confirm orders that have shipped
• Suggests and assists in process improvements which assures safety, quality and efficiency is built into the process
• Other duties as assigned

Qualifications

·         Must have a High School Diploma or GED

·         Warehouse experience

·         Must be able to drive a forklift

·         Strong understanding of process interaction

·         Understanding of order entry and fulfillment

·         Understanding of inventory control system

·         Must have good understanding of safe work practices

·         Must have good organization and housekeeping skills

·         Must be detailed, conscientious, logical and understands the importance of quality

·         Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds as heavy lifting may be required at times

·         Must be able to work as a team player

·         Must be able to stand for long periods of time and work extended hours

·         Must align with the Snap-on mission statement

·         Must wear required Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) which includes; Hi-Vis Vest, Steel Toe Shoes, Safety Glasses or Prescription Safety Glasses (If Applicable), Gloves (If Applicable), and Ear Plugs (If Applicable).
