Vandalia Rental is seeking a motivated and positive individual to join our team as a Heavy Equipment Rental Coordinator at our Sharonville, OH branch. As a key member of our team, you will work closely with customers, vendors, and coworkers to provide exceptional rental solutions and support for heavy equipment. - Provide equipment solutions to customers, creating value for both them and Vandalia Rental.
- Serve as a subject matter expert on our services and equipment.
- Coordinate with the logistics team to schedule equipment delivery and pickup.
- Manage the rental process, ensuring equipment availability and scheduling.
- Collaborate with sales and other departments to provide the best customer experience.
- Assist customers with loading and unloading equipment.
- Answer multiline phones, enter quotes, reservations, and contracts into our ERP system.
- Maintain a clean and organized showroom.
- Perform other duties as needed, which may fall outside the typical scope of this role.
- Optimistic, outgoing attitude with a passion for customer service.
- Experience in the equipment rental or similar industry preferred.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and oral.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Comfortable using a computer and Microsoft Office products.
- Ability to sit/stand for extended periods.
- Ability to start and operate equipment for testing and demonstration.
- Able to lift 75+ lbs. with assistance.
- Proficiency in reading and writing English.
- Comfortable in an environment exposed to dirt, grease, oils, loud noise, and other elements common to construction and industrial workplaces.
- Knowledge of heavy equipment and rental experience is preferred.
