Help Desk Technician
Lee Spring Company, a global manufacturing company based in Brooklyn for over 100 years, is seeking a Help Desk Technician. The Help Desk Technician is the initial point of contact when problems arise within our global IT network infrastructure. Day to day, the Help Desk Technician will work with our end user community to resolve issues and will monitor, maintain and upgrade our network infrastructure.
Key Responsibilities
- Answer and resolve our end users support calls.
- User account creation and removal.
- Software installations and updates.
- Creation of documentation.
- Maintain accurate inventory of all IT equipment.
- Configure and deploy workstations.
- Support various licensed and propriety software.
Skills Required
- Ability to communicate clearly, patiently and effectively with our end users.
- Strong knowledge of Windows Workstation, various editions.
- Basic understanding of Windows Server, various editions.
- Familiarity with Windows Roles (DHCP, DNS, IIS, etc)
- Fluent with Microsoft Office, various editions.
- Excellent analytical skills with problem solving.
- Self-motivated, quick learner and excellent attention to detail.
- Basic understanding of TCP/IP for network troubleshooting.
Location: Onsite position at our Brooklyn headquarters with opportunity for remote work up to one day a week after initial training.
