Histologist I Histo/Surgical I Evenings | Full-Time - UF Health

Shift Hours: 4:00PM-12:30AM

Days of Week: MONDAY-FRIDAY

***Weekend on-call rotation following 6-month probation period***

Performs all processes to prepare tissues and body fluids for diagnostic evaluation. This may include routine embedding, microtomy, staining, routine laboratory equipment maintenance, special staining techniques, immunohistochemistry, and enzyme histochemistry. Must ensure all regulations are met and all productivity and quality standards are met or surpassed.

Minimum Education and Experience Requirements:

• State license as a Histotechnologist required
• One year of relevant experience preferred

Licensure/Certification/Registration: State License as a Histotechnologist
