Duties: - Assist clients with personal care tasks including bathing, grooming, and dressing. - Provide medication reminders and support with prescribed exercises. - Prepare nutritious meals based on dietary requirements and assist with feeding if necessary. - Perform light housekeeping duties to uphold a safe and clean living environment. - Offer mobility assistance and aid in transfers when needed. - Monitor and communicate any changes in clients' health status to healthcare professionals promptly. Experience: - Previous experience in home care or a related field is advantageous. - Certification as a Home Health Aide or completion of a formal training program is preferred. - Proficiency in basic patient care techniques and procedures. - Effective communication skills with clients and their families. - Compassionate and empathetic approach towards meeting clients' needs. Skills: - Proficient in meal preparation. - Experienced in dementia care. - Knowledgeable in catheter care. - Skilled in working with individuals with developmental disabilities. - Capable of providing assisted living support. - Familiarity with hospice care assistance. - Understanding of tube feeding practices. - Knowledge of home care protocols. - Strong patient care abilities.
