HomeCare Occupational Therapist SS-Alachua, Marion and Putnam Counties I HomeCare I Days/ PRN at UF Health Shands

This position is accountable for provision of occupational therapy service compliance with Shands HomeCare policies and procedures, applicable healthcare standards and governmental laws and regulations. The occupational therapy function strives to proactively meet the needs of and assist the patient/client in the achievement of individualized, defined and measurable outcomes. This position reports and is supported by the Director of Rehab or designee. Reporting to the incumbent may be an Occupational Therapy Assistant.

Must successfully pass an AHCA Level 2 screening for this position

Minimum Education and Experience Requirements:
Graduate of an accredited School of Occupational Therapy with a Bachelors, Masters or Doctoral Degree. Licensed in the State of Florida. Minimum two years experience with one year of demonstrated expertise in area of concentration (i.e., home care, Womens Health, Sports, Neurology, Wound, Orthopedic, Pediatric). Home care experience preferred.

Will operate vehicles for an assigned business purpose as a 'non-frequent driver'

NOTE: A frequent driver is defined as one who uses his/her personal or Shands automobile
a) at least once daily, b) at least five individual trips per week or c) drives, on average, over 150 miles per week in the performance of his/her job.
