Hospice Director of Clinical Services:
Emunah Hospice is currently seeking a full-time Hospice Director of Clinical Services (RN) to be responsible for the overall direction of hospcie clinical services according to the policies and procedures of Emunah Hospice. The Clinical Director supervises the care and services provided by the Interdisciplinary Group and delegates nursing services according to established practice standards. The Clinical Director also establishes, implements, and evaluates goals and objectives for hospice services that meet and promote the standards of quality and contribute to the total organization and philosophy.
Essential Job Functions/Responsibilities
- Supervises all direct and indirect patient services provided by clinical organization personnel.
- Provides guidance and counseling to coordinators and Clinical Managers to assist them in continually improving all aspects of hospice care services.
- Assists the Executive Director in the preparation and administration of the organization's budget.
- Hires, evaluates, and terminates organization personnel.
- Conducts annual evaluations on clinicians annually, or more frequently if indicated.
- Assures proper maintenenace of clinical records in compliance with local, state, and federal laws.
- Develops, implements, and evaluates the orientation program for new organization personnel.
- Plans and implements inservice and continuing education programs to meet education and training needs of organization personnel at least quarterly.
- In the absence of the Executive Director, the Clinical Director becomes the acting Executive Director and will be vested with authority to act in behalf of the Executive Director.
Hospice Director of Clinical Services Requirements:
- Registered Nurse with minimum of three years in hospice required. Bachelor's or advanced practice degree preferred.
- Experience in leadership/management required.
- Strong leadership, organizational, and interpersonal skills.
- Demonstrated ability to supervise and direct professional and administrative personnel.
- Excellent observation, verbal, and written communication skills.
- Knowledge of business management, governmental regulations, and CHAP standards is preferred.
- Must have a valid driver's license and auto liability insurance.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $95,000+ based on experience
